  • 2 cups black raspberries fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ cup butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract until the batter is smooth.
  4. Pour the melted butter into a baking dish.
  5. Pour the batter over the melted butter. Do not stir.
  6. Evenly distribute the black raspberries over the batter. Do not stir.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
