Ingredients 

Crust

  • 1 ½ cups All-purpose flour
  • ½ cup Unsalted butter cold and cubed
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • 2 tablespoon Cold water

Filling

  • 2 cups Mixed berries fresh or frozen
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice freshly squeezed

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Add the egg yolk and cold water, mixing until the dough comes together. Press the dough into a tart pan.
  4. Bake the crust for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool.
  5. In another bowl, mix the berries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Pour the mixture into the cooled crust.
  6. Bake for another 15 minutes or until the filling is bubbly. Let it cool before serving.
