Ingredients

  • 4 large Egg whites
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon White vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Heavy cream for topping
  • 2 cups Mixed berries for topping

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the egg whites with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
  3. Gradually add the sugar, one tablespoon at a time, beating well after each addition until the meringue is glossy and stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold in the vinegar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract.
  5. Spoon the meringue onto the prepared baking sheet and shape into a circle with a slight indent in the center.
  6. Bake for 1.5 hours, then turn off the oven and let the pavlova cool completely in the oven.
  7. Once cool, top with whipped cream and fresh berries. Serve immediately.
