  • 2 bananas peeled and halved lengthwise
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ cup dark rum
  • 1 scoop vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions 

  1. 1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add brown sugar and cinnamon, stir until sugar dissolves.
  3. 3. Add bananas, cook until they start to soften, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. 4. Remove skillet from heat, add rum, and carefully ignite with a lighter or match.
  5. 5. Allow flames to subside, then serve bananas with sauce over vanilla ice cream.
