Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter softened
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 cup mashed bananas about 2 bananas
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream the sugar and butter. Add the eggs, bananas, sour cream, vanilla, and mix well.
  3. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; stir into the banana mixture until just combined. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
  4. Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack.
