Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Heat the milk in a saucepan until just warm, then slowly whisk it into the egg mixture.
Pour the mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle the nutmeg on top.
Bake for 45 minutes, or until the custard is set and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow to cool before serving.
