Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Italian seasoned
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 cups Marinara sauce
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 2 pieces Eggs beaten
  • ½ cup Flour

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place the breaded chicken breasts in a baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  5. Remove the baking dish from the oven. Pour marinara sauce over each piece of chicken and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  6. Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
