Main Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup water
- 3 tablespoon vegetable oil
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.
Gradually add the water and oil, mixing until a dough forms.
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for a few minutes until smooth.
Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
Using a rolling pin, roll each ball into a thin circle.
Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Cook each tortilla for about 1 minute on each side, or until brown spots appear.
Keep tortillas warm in a towel until ready to serve.
