Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 0.5 cup peas
  • 0.5 cup carrots, diced
  • 0.5 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in the diced potatoes, carrots, and peas. Cook for about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the tomato sauce, beef broth, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  5. Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
  6. Serve hot with rice or tortillas.
