Asian Quinoa Recipe
A healthy and flavorful quinoa dish with Asian-inspired ingredients.

Main Ingredients
- 1 cup quinoa rinsed
- 2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce low sodium
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 cup carrots shredded
- 1 cup red bell pepper diced
- ½ cup green onions sliced
- ¼ cup cilantro chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds toasted
Rinse the quinoa under cold water.
In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add quinoa, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
Remove from heat and let it sit, covered, for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork.
In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, carrots, red bell pepper, green onions, and cilantro.
Add the cooked quinoa to the bowl and mix well.
Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
