Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil

Sauce Ingredients

  • ½ cup orange juice freshly squeezed
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest

Instructions 

  1. 1. Coat the chicken pieces in cornstarch.
  2. 2. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. 3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together orange juice, soy sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, and orange zest.
  4. 4. Pour the sauce into the skillet and bring to a simmer. Add the cornstarch mixture and cook until the sauce thickens.
  5. 5. Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Serve hot.
