Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Arrowroot flour
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • ½ cup Butter cold and cubed
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 unit Egg beaten
  • 2 tablespoon Milk

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine arrowroot flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the cold, cubed butter and rub it into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the sugar.
  5. Add the beaten egg and milk, mixing until just combined.
  6. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead lightly.
  7. Roll out the dough to about ¼ inch thickness and cut into desired shapes.
  8. Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  9. Let cool on a wire rack before serving.
