Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, mix the flour, butter, salt, and baking powder until it forms a crumbly dough.
  4. Press half of the dough into a baking dish to form the crust.
  5. Spread the apple mixture over the crust.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining dough over the apples to form a topping.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Let it cool before slicing and serving.
