Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 Egg large
  • 2 tablespoon Butter melted
  • 1 Apple peeled, cored, and grated

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, combine buttermilk, egg, and melted butter.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the grated apple.
  4. Heat a griddle or skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it. Pour ¼ cup of batter for each pancake onto the griddle.
  5. Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancakes and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook until golden brown, another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
