- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 1 cup Unsalted butter, softened
- 4 Large eggs
- 2 cups Chopped apples
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a baking pan.
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture, mixing just until combined.
Fold in the chopped apples. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
