  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 package Pie Crusts
  • 1 unit Egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
  3. Roll out the pie crusts and cut into circles using a cookie cutter or a glass.
  4. Place a spoonful of the apple mixture onto each circle, fold over, and seal the edges with a fork.
  5. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  6. Place the hand pies on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
