Dough
- 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
- 0.5 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 0.5 cup Unsalted butter cold, cut into cubes
- 0.25 cup Ice water
Filling
- 3 Apples peeled, cored, and sliced
- 2 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and sugar. Add cold butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually add ice water until the dough comes together. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a 12-inch circle. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet.
In a bowl, toss apple slices with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Arrange apples in the center of the dough, leaving a 2-inch border. Fold the edges of the dough over the apples.
Bake for 40 minutes or until the crust is golden and the apples are tender. Let cool before serving.
