Crust
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup unsalted butter cold and cubed
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Filling
- 4 apples peeled, cored, and sliced
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Crumble Topping
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ½ cup brown sugar packed
- ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt for the crust. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press into a tart pan.
In another bowl, mix the sliced apples with sugar and cinnamon. Spread over the crust.
For the crumble topping, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, and melted butter. Sprinkle over the apples.
Bake for 40 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
