Apple Filling
- 6 apples, peeled and sliced
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
Cobbler Topping
- 1 cup flour
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ cup milk
- ¼ cup butter, melted
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine apples, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pour into a baking dish.
In another bowl, mix flour, sugar, and baking powder. Stir in milk and melted butter until just combined. Pour over apple mixture.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender. Serve warm.
