- 6 slices Bread crusts removed
- 4 cups Apples peeled, cored, and sliced
- ½ cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- ¼ cup Butter melted
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Butter the bread slices and line a baking dish with them, buttered side down.
In a mixing bowl, combine the apples, sugar, and cinnamon. Pour this mixture into the bread-lined dish.
Cover the apple mixture with the remaining bread slices, buttered side up.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
Let it cool slightly before serving.
