Main Ingredients
- 6 cups Apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon Ground Cloves
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract
Place the apples in a slow cooker.
Add granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves, and salt. Stir to combine.
Cover and cook on low for about 10 hours, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is thickened and dark brown.
Uncover and continue cooking on low for 1-2 hours.
Use a blender to puree the apple butter until smooth.
Stir in vanilla extract.
Transfer to jars and refrigerate.
