- 6 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Add the melted butter to the dry ingredients and mix until crumbly.
Place the sliced apples in a baking dish and spread the crumb mixture over the apples.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
