Ingredients 

Cake Batter

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1.5 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Chopped Nuts optional
  • 1 cup Raisins optional

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, oil, and eggs. Mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until smooth.
  4. Stir in vanilla extract, nuts, and raisins if using.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
  6. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool before serving.
