Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ½ cup Vegetable oil
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Almond extract

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a muffin tin or line with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, poppy seeds, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and almond extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
