- 1 cup butter softened
- ⅔ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup almonds finely ground
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup powdered sugar for dusting
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
Gradually add the ground almonds, flour, and salt. Mix until combined.
Shape the dough into small crescents and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack. Dust with powdered sugar while still warm.
