Main Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup light corn syrup
- ¼ cup water
- 1 cup raw almonds chopped
- 2 tablespoon butter unsalted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
Grease a baking sheet and set aside.
In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved.
Stir in almonds. Cook, stirring frequently, until mixture reaches 300°F (hard crack stage) on a candy thermometer.
Remove from heat. Stir in butter, vanilla, and baking soda until well combined.
Quickly pour mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly.
Let cool completely, then break into pieces.
