Ingredients

  • 1 kg Squid cleaned and sliced
  • 1 cup Vinegar
  • ½ cup Soy Sauce
  • 1 head Garlic minced
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 2 pcs Bay Leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Black Peppercorns
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
  2. 2. Add the squid and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  3. 3. Pour in vinegar, soy sauce, and water. Add bay leaves, peppercorns, and sugar. Stir well.
  4. 4. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes.
  5. 5. Serve hot with steamed rice.
