Cobb Salad Pita Pockets are one of those go-to dinners where you don’t have to follow a recipe exactly. Just throw in what you like and you’re good to go! You can use pita pockets, or if you’re like me and get frustrated with trying to stuff them without it ripping, just top a piece of pita bread with salad and fold like a taco… works just as great in my book!!
I also did not include exact measurements because I’ve never used them. I throw what I want into my salad and stuff it into the pita pocket. Feel free to do the same.
Here’s what I use:
When it comes to the ham, I use either cubed ham or deli ham.
Here’s what the cooked, cubed ham looks like:
But you could always use whatever deli ham you have in your refrigerator and cut it up as well like this:
COBB SALAD PITA POCKETS
- Tomatoes, chopped
- Eggs, hard-boiled, sliced
- Avocado, sliced
- Red Onion, diced
- Bacon, cooked and chopped
- Ham, cubed (or sliced deli ham)
- Shredded cheese
- Ranch Dressing
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Pita bread or Pita pockets
Top lettuce with desired ingredients.
Mix with ranch dressing. Salt and pepper to taste.
Top pita bread with salad and fold like a taco. Secure with toothpick.
Carefully stuff pita pocket with salad. Enjoy.
